With the Access Control system, a unique identification is issued to every person enrolled as a system user. The system utilises various means of identification ranging from PIN numbers, proximity cards, and smart cards to biometric readers such as fingerprint, vein and iris identifications. Software and programmable control panels define the entrances, times and rules of entry and/or exit for each authorised user or group. This information is then shared with the system’s control points for quick, dependable acceptance or denial every time a user requests to unlock a door.
Barrier Gate System
Inside the vehicle, an “active tag” is mounted near the dashboard. Upon nearing the barrier gate, the long range proximity reader will receive the signal from the tag. This signal is then processed and the barrier arm lifts automatically for the vehicle to pass through. An alternative to the “active tag”, the proximity card can also be used by badging it to the reader.
